If you have a lancet that looks different than the one in the app video instructions, this is because we made a change to a new, more efficient lancet in October 2022. If you would like to request a new lancet, please email support@reperiohealth.com. If you would like to continue with the old lancet version, please use the instructions below.
If your lancet looks like this:
Steps on how to use the above lancet with pictures
-
Pick up the lancet and make sure not to squeeze the ridged release button on the top of the lancet.
-
Carefully twist the gray clip at the end of the lancet. Twist approximately three times until the clip pulls off easily. Discard the gray clip and the lancet is now primed for use.
3. Place the lancet on the area of your finger that you cleaned. Make sure to avoid any calluses. The side of the lancet that had the clip removed should be pressed against the meaty part of your finger.
4. Now we will use the lancet to prick your finger. Hold the lancet firmly against your finger. Make sure not to pull away and press the raised release trigger on the top of the lancet. You'll feel a small poke as the lancet pricks your finger.
5. Your finger should now be ready to expel your blood sample as shown in the steps after the lancet in the Reperio App. Please be sure to follow these steps to move forward with your lipid and glucose tests.
