What does Reperio do with your kit once it is shipped back?
You will receive a confirmation that your kit has safely arrived at our facility. All kits go through a comprehensive multi-step quality and sanitization process that includes inspection, cleaning, sanitization, and erasure of all personal data from the kit. During this process, your personal data is not visible to us.
What does this process consist of?
The quality & sanitization process includes a detailed quality inspection, rigorous cleaning and sanitization process, and erasure of all personal data from the kit. The cleaning and sanitization process includes FDA-recommended cleaning methods, an electrostatic disinfectant spray procedure, and quality assurance checks with an ATP swab testing device.
What is ATP?
ATP (adenosine triphosphate) is an energy molecule that is found in all living cells. The ATP test is used to measure levels of ATP on a surface, and provides accurate results that help define, monitor, and maintain cleaning standards within a facility or specific surface area. ATP tests are used in hospital settings, like surgical rooms as well as clinical exam rooms. The inclusion of ATP testing after a surface has been cleaned is an essential indication of cleaning efficacy.
Why does my blood sensor have a tacky texture/feeling?
PTS Diagnostics, our blood sensor manufacturer and partner, outfitted the device to be used in the field by medical professionals wearing gloves while handling it. With this in mind, they designed the device to withstand slipping and/or falling out of the hands of someone wearing gloves. As outlined above, all parts of our kits go through a comprehensive, multi-step quality and sanitization process.
